Graduated Communities Study

The graduated communities study was conducted to assess whether Spark’s Facilitated Collective Action Process (FCAP) community projects and meetings were still sustaining one year after communities graduated from the process. This internal study also designed an appropriate process for measuring sustainability, and ascertained what parts of the FCAP are still sustaining. In this study, surveys were conducted in 38 Spark communities in Uganda, and 35 in Rwanda, one year after FCAP graduation, with a final report being released in October 2019.
