Spark’s partner communities act as the main decision makers at every stage of our process. The Spark Process encourages communities to envision and work towards their own goals, putting them in the driver's seat of their futures.
Spark partners with "last mile" communities with limited infrastructure and access. The Spark Process helps these communities by building on existing social capital and community structures to drive community led change.
The Spark Process is a streamlined and cost-effective way to catalyze collective community action. The Process has been tested and proven across four different social, economic and political contexts.
Spark’s Process strengthens villages across five fundamental pillars of success. The result is continued collective action as demonstrated by the percentage of communities who continue to meet, undertake independent projects and effect broader change in their regions.
